Miguel Ángel Sánchez


Miguel Ángel Sánchez began his studies as a violinist in Colombia, where he received a scholarship to continue his intermediate and advanced studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the Russian Academy of Music Gniesin, respectively. 

Based in Madrid since 1999, Sánchez Prieto combines his activity as a chamber musician with his collaboration with symphony orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Radio Televisión Española (RTVE), the Junge Fhilharmonie Köln and the Real Filarmonía de Santiago de Compostela. He also accumulates concert engagements in Russia, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Portugal, China, Armenia, Colombia and Bolivia.   

Since 2004, Miguel Ángel Sánchez has developed his pedagogical work at the Montserrat Caballé Conservatory in Arganda del Rey, where he teaches violin and conducts the string orchestra.
