The Reina Sofía School of Music, as part of its series of concerts for families, Clásicos Divertidos, presents Clara and the Magic Nutcracker, a production of Tchaikovsky's famous work, adapted for children from 4 to 10 years old. The show is a musical tale in which the music of the School's young talents is combined with theater and interpretation, in a didactic production full of imagination, magic and fun. An unforgettable journey into a world of fantasy, designed to be enjoyed by the whole family.
Clara is an 8-year-old girl who has many, many toys: cars, dolls, costumes, stuffed animals... In fact, we could say that she has so many toys that all of them bore her enormously and she doesn't value them at all. Besides, Clara is very angry because her family has just given her a nutcracker, a strange toy that she doesn't like at all. However, thanks to him and the magic of Tchaikovsky 's wonderful Nutcracker Suite, she is about to live a great adventure that will help her discover the real treasure she already has in her hands. To achieve it, Clara is going to need your help, will you join this magical musical adventure?
The French cellist Célia Garetti, the Spanish violinist Ana Molina and the Russian pianist Kirill Zheleznov, together with the actress Macarena Molina (Clara and Nutcracker), and the narration of Ana Laura Iglesias (Sugar Fairy) will make you live a magical experience to the sound of Tchaikovsky's music.
