What does the program consist of?

The program is designed as an integrated experience where participants, in addition to receiving personalized and high-quality instrumental training, enjoy leisure and recreational activities that promote the development of social skills and the creation of lasting friendships.

Individual Instrument Classes

Individual classes are designed to foster an intense teacher-student relationship through rigorous tracking of their needs and expectations.

Additionally, participants of the Young Artists Summer Camp will have access to collective masterclasses given by renowned teachers and artists, many of whom are professors at the Reina Sofía School of Music. These classes will be offered to active students and listeners in 90-minute sessions, and participants may also attend masterclasses for other instruments.

Chamber Music

Ensemble music practice is one of the pillars of the School’s pedagogy, understood as a highly relevant specialty that contributes to students' artistic development and maturity.

In this subject, participants will work on active listening, shared leadership, and teamwork—skills that will be useful not only in the musical field but also in their individual growth.

Each participant will be assigned to a chamber group and will receive the music sheet before the beginning of the program to study in advance.

Cross-Disciplinary Workshops

The cross-disciplinary subjects in the Young Artists Summer Camp are designed to develop self-knowledge, self-management, and critical development skills, as they play a fundamental role in both musical training and the personal growth of students.

  • Cultural outings. Participants will visit the main cultural centers of Madrid.
  • Leisure time at the residence facilities. After classes, participants can relax in the residence facilities and enjoy the pool.
