Laura Fernández


Soprano from Madrid, she completed her higher studies at the Madrid Higher Singing School, parallel to her foray into very varied interpretive and stylistic worlds, from the Middle Ages and Renaissance, through the Baroque, to the concert song and opera of the 18th centurie, XIX, XX and XXI, working with a multitude of teachers, seeking and adapting to different interpretive techniques throughout his long career. 
Therefore, it is its primary objective to provide all its artistic and pedagogical projects with a personal and sincere expressiveness, seeking theatricality and expression at all levels. 
She regularly collaborates with the La Phármaco dance company, has done audiovisual work with the British filmmaker Tom Skipp, has participated in classical theater as a singer, and in a multitude of productions of different styles of music. 
In the world of Early Music he regularly participates with various groups such as Petrarca Ensemble (of which he is a founding member) or Capilla de Extravagantes. 
 
She has been teaching since 2008, working with students of all levels and styles. Practitioner of Iyengar Yoga for more than 20 years, she integrates movement and body-mind work in the training of the artist, as well as the knowledge and control of anatomy. 
She is currently a singing teacher at the RESAD (Higher School of Dramatic Art) in Madrid.
