Encounter of Santander
Established as a trio in 1996 at the Reina Sofía School of Music, the Casa de la Moneda Scarlatti Ensemble currently studies with Marta Gulyás, professor of the Piano Groups Department.
In its different forms, the ensemble has attended chamber music masterclasses by Peter Frankl, Diemut Poppen, Ralf Gothóni and Alexander Bondurjansky. It has performed at Barcelona’s Petit Palau, at Casa de la Moneda’s Auditorium and at Casa de Cantabria, among others. In addition, the ensemble has performed in the Primavera BBVA Concert Cycle at Palacio Marqués de Salamanca, in the Chamber Music Cycle of Spain’s World Heritage Cities at Toledo’s Sinagoga de Tránsito and in the Solistas del Siglo XXI, Da Camera and Preludio cycles at the Sony Auditorium. In 2012 the ensemble also performed at Seville’s Osuna Professional Conservatory of Music.
