Felipe Rodríguez


Born in Salamanca in 1982, he began his musical studies at the age of 7 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with Elías Rodríguez, continuing them later at the Conservatorio de Cartagena with Professor Katalin Pétrik and finally in Madrid with maestros José Luis García Asensio and Vicente Huerta. He has received master classes from violinists such as Pinchas Zukerman, Maxim Vengerov, Vadim Repin, Mikhail Kopelman and Mauricio Fuks, among others. 

In the field of chamber music, he has worked with maestros such as Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Luciano Berio, Walter Levine, Rainer Schmidt and Piero Farulli. 

His various recordings for Sony, Naxos, RNE and TVE are worthy of special mention. 

He has won prizes at renowned international competitions, such as the Joaquín Rodrigo International Violin Competition and the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition, among others.
