Yume Zamponi

Born in Assisi, Italy, in 2005, Yume Zamponi began playing the violin at the age of three and later joined the class of Paola Besutti at the Vecchi Tonelli Conservatory. In 2020, she was awarded a place at the Yehudi Menuhin School studying with Lutsia Ibragimova. In the same year, Yume was invited to the junior orchestra of Verbier festival, and the RCO young orchestra of the Concertgebouw. She has performed in venues such as Kings Place, Berliner Philharmonie and in the Gstaad Menuhin Festival. Yume has participated in masterclasses with Pavel Vernikov, Daniel Barenboim, Barnabás Keleman, Emmanuel Pahud, and more. Yume is currently studying at the Barenboim-Said Akademie under Mihaela Martin and plays on an instrument kindly loaned to her by the J&A Beare’s association.
