Tom Feltgen

Born in Luxembourg in 1997, Tom Feltgen currently studies in Brussels with Jeroen Reuling. He obtained his Master's Diploma at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Jelena Očić, and his bachelor’s degree with Gideon den Herder. He completed the young talent programme at the Hochschule für Musik Saar, Saarbrücken, in 2016. Since 2022, Tom teaches cello at the Luxembourg City Conservatory. He has been awarded the National Cello Competition of the Netherlands, as well as receiving other prizes. He has been granted a scholarship by the Fondation Michelle. As a soloist, he has performed concertos by composers like Haydn, Dvorak, Gulda, and Shostakovich with ensembles including the Luxembourg Philharmonia and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg.
