Johannes Pierre Bettac

Born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1999. Since 2024, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music 's "Zubin Mehta" Conducting Chair with professor Nicolás Pasquet- He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

He studied orchestra conducting at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold withFlorian Ludwig. Previously, he completed an internship as a repetiteur at the Theater Hof. During his training, he made several guest appearances at the Landestheater Detmold and worked with orchestras such as the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, the Philharmonie Südwestfalen, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen and the Philharmonisches Orchester Hagen.

He has won several prizes in national and international competitions. He has been invited to participate in the conducting masterclass at the Bayreuth Festival and, in 2024, he worked at the Semperoper Dresden as assistant and repetiteur in a production by Luciano Chailly.
