Anna Lee

Born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1995. Delighting her listeners with "her warm, humane musicianship" and "sparkling virtuosity", American violinist Anna Lee debuted with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra at age 6. Notable chamber music collaborations include Mitsuko Uchida, Gary Hoffman, and Emmanuel Ax. Lee has also performed with the NY Philharmonic, the hr-Sinfonieorchester, and the Belgian National Orchestra, and has won top prizes at the 2022 Ysaÿe, 2019 Montréal, and 2018 Indianapolis Competitions. She studied with Ana Chumachenco, Don Weilerstein, Miriam Fried, Ani Kavafian, Cho-Liang Lin, and Masao Kawasaki while at the Kronberg Academy, Harvard College, Yale School of Music, and the Juilliard School, respectively. Currently, she is an Artist in Residence under the guidance of Augustin Dumay at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
