On the occasion of the feast of the Virgen de la Almudena, patron saint of the city of Madrid, the City Council of the capital organizes this concert, in collaboration with the Reina Sofía School, as part of the cultural programme to celebrate this commemoration.

A grupo of former students of the Reina Sofía School of Music will give a zarzuela recital, performing a selection of songs from works such as Luisa Fernanda, El barberillo de Lavapiés, La revoltosa, Agua, azucarillos y aguardiente or Doña Francisquita in the Sony Auditorium.

Free entry with invitatition until full capacity is reached. Invitations will be available to download from 5th November.
