Globant joins the Board of Trustees of the Reina Sofía School of Music as one of its technology partners


Madrid, January 30, 2024 - With the aim of expanding and contributing to the promotion of cultural activity, Globant and the Reina Sofía School of Music have signed a collaboration agreement, which seeks to bring music education to the highest level worldwide through technology and the implementation of innovative solutions. The agreement seeks to bring together culture and technology, to further promote the positive impact they have on society.

On behalf and as Founding President of Reina Sofía School of Music, Paloma O'Shea, and on behalf of Globant, Martín Umaran, Co-Founder and President for EMEA, signed a collaboration agreement whereby the digital company focused on reinventing business through innovative technology solutions will participate in the work of the Reina Sofía School of Music, as one of its technology partners, accompanying and developing the digital innovation plan for the next three years of the cultural institution, which proposes the use of the most innovative technologies to further promote the development and growth of the School.

At the signing ceremony, Paloma O'Shea, founding president of the Reina Sofía School of Music, emphasised that: "At the School we work to support the young artists of the future, both in their personal growth and their artistic progress. Our School is also in a process of significant growth, and the current digital challenges are greater. We are very happy about the support that Globant and the Queen Sofia School are going to give each other."

Martín Umaran, co-founder and president of Globant EMEA, added: "The collaboration with the Reina Sofía School of Music is a reflection of our firm commitment to how we want to continue transforming different spaces in society through technology, in this case culture, music and art. These disciplines not only have a significant and positive impact on society, but can also be exponentially boosted through technology and innovation. That is why, through this agreement, we will build a plan to accelerate the School's digital transformation process using the most advanced technologies".

The event was also attended by Julia Sánchez, CEO of the School and other members of the Globant team.
