Miguel Rosell


Born in Barquisimeto Venezuela, where he began his musical studies on the classical Guitar, under the direction of the master Rodrigo Riera, later he moved to Caracas, there he started his studies on the cello in the “Simón Bolívar Conservatory”, being part of the National Movement of Young Orchestras of Venezuela. In Spain he got the superior degree on the cello and chamber music in Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music. 


He started his professional activity on the “Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Orchestra”, and afterwards on the “Caracas Municipal Orchestra”. In Spain he has worked with several orchestras, among others: “Orchesta Filarmónica de Madrid, Orchesta Ciudad de Granada, Orchesta de Cámara Eduard Toldrá and the Orchesta Académica de Madrid. He has participated too in several recordings for cinema and theatre productions and for a lot of independent artists, and for the Spain National Radio (RNE). 
Mr Rosell has being member of; Quadrivium String Quartet, “Agrupación Camerística Isolda, “Ensamble Tierra de Gracia”, “Terra Ensamble”, with it he has touring by Spain: Africa, Middle East, and the rest of Europe. 

 
On the other hand, he is developing a intense education activity as a professor on cello and chamber music on the schools: “Enrique Granados of Majadahonda”, Pozuelo Municipal School of Music and Dance. Also he collaborated in the Summer Camp Música y Cultura Santander 2021 and 2022, Summer Camp Jóvenes Artistas Madrd. 2023, and in the American School of Music of Madrid Chamber music workshop 2022.
