Albéniz Foundation Master Classes for young musicians in Santander

In collaboration with Fundación Santander Creativa

The Albéniz Foundation offers young musicians who are residents registered in the municipality of Santander the chance to develop their talent with a free programme of master classes in June 2024, at the Conservatorio Profesional Ataúlfo Argenta.

This is a unique opportunity to immerse young musicians from Santander in a week of interactive and enriching learning, facilitated by great artists and teachers from the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid.

CALL:

Limited places for students between 8 and 18 years of age:  

• Piano (20 and 21 June 2024), prof. Vadim Gladkov
• Violin (18 and 19 June 2024), Prof. Erzhan Kulibaev
• Cello (20 and 21 June 2024), prof. Mikolaj Konopelski
• Chamber Music* (18 to 21 June)

Participation is free, but it is limited to students who are residents registered in the city of Santander. For more information, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions.

*Groups that apply must be formed prior to the submission of the application, and at least one member must play the piano, violin, or cello.

DATES AND TIMES:

Date: 17 to 22 June 2024

Time: from 15:00 to 18:00 and from 18:30 to 21:30

Place: Ataúlfo Argenta Professional Conservatory of Music

• Each participant will have two one-hour lessons on consecutive days and will have the opportunity to attend any of the other classes as an observer.
• Registration will be done through the registration form, including a certificate of residence and a video of you playing the instrument with which you wish to participate.
• Among all applications received, the committee will select 6 participants for each instrument, who will be announced on Monday, 3 June 2024.
