Erzhan Kulibaev


Prizewinner of prestigious international competitions, such as the Henryk Wieniawski Competition, the First International Musical Competition of Manhattan in New York and Gold Medal at the Berliner International Music Competition 2017, Erzhan Kulibaev has graduated at the Special Music School of the Moscow Conservatory Tchaikovsky. He attended the prestigious Reina Sofía School of Music to study with Zakhar Bron and the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, where he studied with Prof. Pierre Amoyal. In the years 2006, 2010 and 2011 he was awarded with Honorary Diploma by Queen Sofía.  

Acclaimed for its expressiveness and virtuosity, Erzhan Kulibaev has established himself as one of the most exciting and talented concert soloists, playing at concert halls such as the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berliner Philharmonie, the Mariinsky Theatre in Moscow, the Opèra Bastille in Paris and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.   

His commitments include performances with conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Ashkenazy, David Geringas, Maxim Vengerov, Schlomo Minz and Ana Duczmal-Mróz; and orchestras such as the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Poznan Philharmonic, the Royal Camerata, the Chamber Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic Society and the Spanish Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, and the Symphony Orchestra of Castilla y León.  

Violin professor at the Katarina Gurska Conservatoire in Madrid and at the ESMAR in Valencia, Kulibaev combines his career as a soloist with teaching, giving master classes at the Galamian International Academy (Málaga, Spain), the Higher Institute of Art of the Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires, Argentina), the School of Arts “Huadong Music City” (Beijing, China) and The New World School of Arts (Miami, United States).
