Elena Frutos


Born in Madrid, Elena Frutos combines her activity as a concert performer with teaching at the Cátedra de Repertorio con Piano in the Conservatorio Superior de Música of Salamanca.  


In 2018 she finished her Master’s degree in Performance at the Reina Sofía School of Music, with Galina Eguiazarova. In 2016/2017 she was awarded the Diploma for the most outstanding student of her chair directly from H.M. Queen Sofia of Spain. 


She has been awarded in many piano and chamber music competitions, like Prize Vicente Scaramuzza 2017, Turniej Kameralny in Bydgoszczy (Poland), First Prize in “Marisa Montiel Piano Competition”, “Jacinto Guerrero Youth Competition”, “Río Orbigo Competition” and “Intercentros Competition”, among others. 


She debuted with orchestra in 2011 with “Padre Antonio Soler” Conservatory of Music Orchestra, in a concert tour through Spain and Austria. She has participated as soloist with the Castilla y León Symphonic Orchestra, the Goya Symphonic Orchestra and Philarmonic Orchestra of the CSMA. 


She has also performed in important cycles and recitals such as AIE Clásicos en Ruta (2016/2017), Fringe Festival, Festival Rafael Orozco, Música en el Instante concert cycle, in the Festival Piano Meeting and in the Encuentro de Música y Academia de Santander.
