Víctor Talayero Mocholi

Born in Llíria, Spain, in 2001. Since 2024, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music's Fundación "la Caixa" French Horn Chair with professor Radovan Vlatković. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

He began his musical education in his home-town. At the age of 12, he entered the Benaguasil Conservatory under the guidance of professor Batiste Bernat and he also attended classes by José Miguel Asensi, María Rubio and Radek Baborak, among others. Later he furthered his training at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya with professor Juan Manuel Gómez, José Vicente Castello and Pablo Cadenas.

He auditioned with the RCO YOUNG (youth orchestra created by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), among other youth orchestras, and during the years in which he studied in Barcelona he was a member of the Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya, Joven Orquesta Nacional de España, Neue Philharmonie Múnich, and collaborated with the symphony orchestras of Barcelona and Castilla y León. He also participated as an academician with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.

As a student of the School, he is part of the Clara Wieck Quintet and of the Cosan Ensemble.
