Saori Ishikawa

Born in Kanagawa, Japan, in 1996. Since 2024, she studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music's Diploma in Contemporary Piano with professor Florent Boffard whose educational activity at the School is supported by the French Embassy in Spain and the French Institute. Ishikawa has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

Saori began studying music at the age of three at the Yamaha Music School. She later attended the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in 2019, she continued her studies in France under the guidance of Jérôme Granjon.
She later joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in the class of Florent Boffard, where she earned her master’s degree in piano.

Passionate about the music of the 20th and 21st centuries, she broadens her musical horizons by participating in the creation of contemporary works. In addition to her career as a soloist, she collaborates with various musicians and singers, performing mainly in Tokyo and France.

She is also pursuing a master’s degree in chamber music in the class of Claire Désert and Fuminori Tanada, as well as a master’s degree in piano accompaniment in the class of Jean-Frédéric Neuburger at the CNSMDP. She is a recipient of a scholarship from the Fondation Meyer.
