Born in Samaniego, Nariño, Colombia, in 1999). Since 2024, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music's Trumpet Chair with professor Reinhold Friedrich. He has been granted scholarships by Fundación Santo Domingo, MAEC/AECID and Fundación Albéniz.

He began his musical training at the age of six in the Municipal Band of the Mayor Alejo Music School. He graduated with honours in Music from the University of Antioquia.

He has excelled in several competitions, such as third prize at the Albéniz Brass School International Competition ‘Fabio Brum & Friends’ (2020), first prize at the Young Soloists Competition of the Cali Philharmonic (2021), first prize at the Eurorchestries International Young Classical Music Talent Competition (2021), and finalist at the Young Soloists Competition of the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia (2022), among others.

He has taken part in renowned international festivals and tours with the Colombian Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, performing in venues like the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, the Philharmonie Hall in Paris, the Isar Philharmonic Hall in Munich, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Berliner Philharmonie, and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

He has attended masterclasses by international soloists including Pacho Flores (Venezuela), Luis González (Spain), Wiff Rudd (United States), Eric Aubier (France), Otto Sauter (Germany), Marc Geujon (France), Moritz Gög (Germany), Florian Kirner (Germany), Mary Elizabeth Bowden (United Kingdom), Benjamin Moreno (Spain), and Adán Delgado (Spain).
