Encounter of Santander
Born in Budapest, Hungary, in 2003. Since 2022, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Clarinet Chair with professor Pascal Moraguès. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.
He started his music education with professor Júlia Vaig at the Zoltán Kodály Primary and Secondary Music School in Budapest. In 2018 he entered the Béla Bartók Conservatory of Music as a student of professors László Mayer, Endre Gyulai and Noémi Kanizsár. He finished his clarinet and chamber music studies with Honours. He has also attended masterclasses by Pascal Moragués, Florent Heau, Csaba Klenyán, Ákos Ács, Béla Kovács, Rita Wagner, Calogero Palermo, and Ralf Gothóni (groups with piano).
He has won several clarinet and chamber music competitions such as Femus International Wind Competition, Danubia International Music Competition and world known Hungarian music competitions.
In 2022 he performed Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto as soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Béla Bartók Conservatory at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.
As a student of the School, he has performed with the Freixenet Orchestra, conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Juanjo Mena, Péter Csaba and Sir András Schiff; with the Sinfonietta, conducted by Zsolt Nagy, and within the Soloists of the 21st century series. He has been part of the Casa de la Moneda Scarlatti Quintet, and of the D'Anches and the Contrapunto BBDO trios. He is currently a member of the Clara Wieck Quintet and of the Contrapunto Duo.
