Nanami Anasagasti Kamitaka

Nanami Anasagasti Kamitaka

Born in Bilbao, Spain, in 2012. Since 2023, she studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Telefónica Violin Chair with professor Zakhar Brom. She has been granted scholarships by Helena Revoredo and Fundación Albéniz.

At the age of 2, she moved to Tokyo with her family, where she started playing violin with professor Utako Shibata at 4 years old and participated in several concerts. In 2024 she performed first in a solo recital in Interlaken, Switzerland.

In 2022, she took part at the Yokohama International Competition and received the Club Rotary International Award. By the end of 2022, she came back to Spain and, in 2023, she attended masterclasses by Iouri Volguin and Zakhar Bron. In 2024, she was awarded the first prize and the grand prix at the 7th Saulius Sondeckis Competition in Siauliai, Lithuania, and the first prize at the 16th International Violin Competition held in Lublin (poland) in memory of K. Lipinski and H.Wieniawski.

She currently plays a 7/8 violin loaned by Yuri Pochekin.
