Michael Leonardo Davidman

Born in New York, USA, in 1997. Since 2024, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music's Fundación Banco Santander Piano Chair with professor Stanislav Ioudenitch. He has been granted scholarships by Bloomberg LP and Fundación Albéniz.

He completed his BA in Music with Robert McDonald and Ford Mylius Lallerstedt at the Curtis Institute, and MA in Music at the Juilliard School with Jerome Lowenthal and Stephen Hough. Subsequently, he prepared his Artist Diploma with Stanislav Ioudenitch at the International Center of Music (ICM) in Kansas City.

He has been awarded in several competitions including the Long-Thibaud International Piano Competition (2022, third prize and orchestra prize), American Pianists Association (2021, finalist), Juilliard Gina Bachauer Competition (2019, first prize) and New York International Piano Competition Chamber Ensemble, (2018, first prize), among others.

Additionally, he was granted an scholarship by Chopin Foundation from the United States. He has performed with the Orchestra of Philadelphia, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Symphonicity, Monterey Symphony Orchestra and West Point Band.

As a student of the School, he is a member of the Cassadó Ensemble.
