Born in Brauschweig, Germany, she studied in Hannover and Rome with Matti Raekallio, Bernd Goetzke, and Benedetto Lupo (Concert Diploma). She has also received advice by Robert Levin, Ferenc Rados, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Tatiana Zeligman, and Michel Béroff.
From 2020 to 2024, she was a professor at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, Germany. Since 2023, she has been an accompanying professor at the Katerina Gurska School in Madrid, and starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, she will also be an Accompanying Pianist Professor at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Telefónica Violin Chair with Professor Zakhar Bron.
She was laureate in international competitions including the Steinway Competition in Hamburg, Germany; the International Swedish Duo Competition, and the Chamber Music Competition in Lyon (with cellist Stanislas Kim).
She has been invited to perform in several festivals, like the Schleswig-Holstein, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Hitzacker Festival, and Bachtage Würzburg, and she has performed as soloist and as chamber musician in several European and Asian venues. She has recently performed Prokofiev’s Concert for piano no.1 with Göttingen. Additionally, she has received the Super Sonic Award for her recording of Goldberg Variations.
She speaks fluent German, French and English. She also speaks Italian and Spanish at an intermediate level and has a basic knowledge of Russian.
