Manca Kumar

Born in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, in 1998, soprano Manca Kumar began her musical journey at age five. Studying at Ljubljana Conservatory of Music, she honed her vocal skills, then pursued further education at Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, earning her bachelor's degree in 2023. As the winner of the PerArtem competition, she performed in solo recitals at the Maribor Opera House and the National Philharmonia in 2021. In 2022, she became the youngest finalist at the Lied Duo Gustav Mahler Competition and secured a gold prize at the Lav Mirski International Singing Competition. She is now pursuing her master’s degree at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
