Lele Wangwang

Born in China in 2005, Lele Wangwang started playing the cello at age 6. From 2016 to 2022, he studied under Prof. Min Cao at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Since 2023, he has continued at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München with Prof. Wen-Sinn Yang. In 2018, he won 1st prize in the ensemble category at The Third Chinese Youth Music Competition, 1st prize at The 12th Jan Vychytil International Cello Competition in Prague, and 1st prize at the Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition in Italy. His outstanding talent was further recognized in 2022 when he attained 2nd prize in the Dotzauer Cello Competition.
