Leandro Lazzari

Born in Bologna, Italy, in 2001. He attended the G.B. Martini Conservatory from the age of 10 and graduated with a 110 cum laude in oboe. Currently, he is in his second year of the master's degree at Hochschule Für Musik Basel FHNW with M° Emanuel Abbühl. He is a winner of several oboe competitions, among which is the first place at the 9th International Oboe Competition 'Giuseppe Ferlendis' in 2022. He has performed as principal oboist in several professional orchestras, including the Teatro dell'opera di Roma, La Toscanini, and the Haydn Foundation. He has also played English horn in the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and as second oboist in the Teatro alla Scala and other orchestras.
