Kryštof Kohout

Born in Pilsen, Czech Republic, in 2000. Having recently made his Carnegie Hall debut recital, violinist Kryštof Kohout performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe and the USA. At the age of 21, he made his Barbican Hall debut, playing the Berg Violin Concerto. As a laureate of the Bartók World Competition, he recently performed the Beethoven Concerto with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Other recent highlights include performances at Wigmore Hall, Gstaad Menuhin Festival and Konzerthaus Berlin. Krystof's upcoming engagements include recitals at Bridgewater Hall, House of Music Pilsen, and a solo performance with BBC Philharmonic.
