Kristina Marušić

Born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 2001, Kristina Marušić is a violinist based in Basel. She studied with Rainer Schmidt and Guy Braunstein. She has performed numerous concerts as a soloist, with chamber ensembles, and orchestras throughout Serbia, as well as in Europe, and has won more than 30 awards at national and international solo and chamber music competitions. As a chamber musician, she has collaborated and performed with outstanding musicians such as Rainer Schmidt, Nemanja Radulovic, Roman Simovic, Gordan Nikolic, Jan Vogler, Marianne Piketty, Daniel Rowland, and Maja Bogdanovic. She has participated in festivals such as Mortizburg Festival, Le Concert Ideal, Mahler Festival, Sardegna, Stift, Musica Mundi, KotorArt, etc. She has also worked with conductors such as Teodor Currentzis, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Josep Caballe Domenech, etc.
