Encounter of Santander
Born in La Paz, Bolivia, in 1995. Bolivian-German pianist José Navarro-Silberstein has so far performed in four continents, including prestigious venues such as Teatro Municipal in La Paz and Musikverein in Vienna. He has collaborated with renowned orchestras and conductors, including the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra and Timothy Redmond, among others. His debut CD, "Vibrant Rhythms," released by GENUIN Classics, has received international acclaim from notable publications like BBC Music Magazine and Pizzicato. A prize winner at various piano competitions, he was also in the final rounds at the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in 2021. He studied in Weimar and Cologne and holds an Artist Diploma from the Royal College of Music, London. He counts as one of the last pupils of Paul Badura-Skoda.
