Gloria Huyghe

Born in Ghent, Belgium, in 2000, she began taking harp lessons with Anouk Sturtewagen in Ghent at the age of 10. At 16, she joined the class of Eline Groslot at the Royal Conservatory Antwerp. For her bachelor’s degree, Gloria studied at the Conservatoire Royal Brussels with Annie Lavoisier. She won the third prize at the 2019 French Harp Competition Limoges and the second prize at the Collegium21 Contemporary Harp Competition Paris. For her Orchestra Master's Degree, she was accepted at the Universität der Künste Berlin with Marion Ravot. She has performed with the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands at Young Euro Classics under the baton of Alexander Shelley and in a chamber opera at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Since 2023, she has been a scholarship holder of the Yehudi Menuhin.
