Esperanza Saki Caraballo Yakura

Born in Talavera de la Reina, Spain, in 2007. Since 2021, she studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Telefónica Violin Chair with professor Zakhar Bron. She has been granted scholarships by Fundación Mª Cristina Masaveu Peterson and Fundación Albéniz.

She began her violin studies at the age of 2 with professors Isako Yoshimura, Olga Rodriguez and Daniel Jimenez. From 2012 to 2021 she studied with Professor Olga Vilkomirskaia, from whom she has received classes full of passion for music. Throughout her musical development, she has had the opportunity to learn from teachers such as Anna Baget, Latica Honda-Rosenberg, among others.

In addition to violin, she has studied piano, since 2012 with Professor Luis Arias Fernández, and from 2018, with Professor Rubén Yessayan Villalobos, thus expanding her musical sensitivity and understanding.

Her career has been recognized in numerous competitions. She has obtained the second prize in the VII and VIII Concurso de Corda “Cidade de Vigo” and, recently, she was awarded the second prize in the Senior Group of the XVI International Violin Competition in memory of K. Lipinski and H. Wieniawski held in Lublin (Poland).

As a student of the School, she has been a member of the Freixenet Orchestra, conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada.
