Encounter of Santander
Born in Epsom, United Kingdom, in 2001. British-Polish violinist Emily Trubshaw is an versatile musician, regularly presenting solo recitals around the UK. As a chamber musician, Emily particularly enjoys performing contemporary music and recently made her professional debut with the London Sinfonietta at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. She is currently a Riot Ensemble Art Mentor Scholar and is part of the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group NEXT scheme. Emily is also concertmaster of the Kensington Chamber Orchestra and has performed with the Knussen Chamber Orchestra, Docklands Sinfonia, and Waterperry Opera Festival. Graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2022 with first-class honours with distinction in music, she is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music, where she learns with Jack Liebeck.
