David Solomon

David Solomon

Born in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) in 2002. Since 2019, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación Banco Santander Piano Chair with professor Dmitri Bashkirov. He has been granted tuition and accommodation scholarships by Fundación Albéniz.

He started to study piano at the age of eight at the School of Music of Andorra (Teruel, Spain) with Anna Placzkowska and Eloisa Pilar Lombarte. He completed the 2012-2013 academic year at Alcañil’s Professional Conservatory of Music with Teresa Martínez. He later moved to Romania in 2013, where he attended the Sigismund Toduta School of Music in Cluj-Napoca, and received classes from Monica Noveanu, Lucian Gheju and Daniel Goiti. He has been awarded in several national and international piano competitions, including first prize at the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition (United States, 2020), and has participated in recitals.

As a student of the School, he is a member of the Strauss Trio.
