Encounter of Santander
Born in Budapest (Hungary) in 1998. He started his piano music studies at the age of 4 and took up bassoon when he was 9. He began to learn bassoon at the Szent István Music gymnasium in Budapest in 2013 with István Hartenstein. He later joined the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in 2017 with György Lakatos. Since 2018, he studies at Hannover’s Hochschule für Musik with Bence Bogányi. He has been awarded first prize at the Hungarian National Bassoon Competition in 2009, 2012, 2015; first prize at the Chieri International Bassoon Competition (2016) and fourth prize at the Brno International Bassoon Competition (2019). He was admitted to the 68th ARD Music Competition in 2019 and to the Prague Spring Music Competition in 2020 (postponed to 2022).
