Alexander Declercq

Born in Brugge, Belgium, in 1998. Alexander Declercq studied piano and clarinet at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the classes of Jan Michiels and Benjamin Dieltjens. He further specialized at Cologne University of Music and Dance under the mentorship of Sheila Arnold. Balancing his solo career with a deep passion for chamber and orchestral music, Alexander has graced stages all over Europe and beyond. He performed in renowned venues such as Wigmore Hall, Concertgebouw Bruges, and Flagey. He also participated in festivals like 'Klavier-Festival Ruhr,' 'Midis-Minimes’, and 'KlaraFestival’.Alexander has received lessons from influential instructors including Abdel Rahman El-Bacha, Klaus Hellwig, Markus Groh, Fabio Bidini, among others.
