Encounter of Santander
Born in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain, in 2006. Since 2022, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Banco Santander Piano Chair with professor Stanislav Ioudenitch. He has been granted scholarships by Fundación Occident and Fundación Albéniz.
He began his piano studies at the age of seven with Neus Guash, in his hometown, and later with Lluïsa Morán and Daniel Ligorio. He has attended masterclasses by Pierre Réach, Marta Zabaleta, Vladik Bronevetzky, Leonel Morales, Josep Colom, Nikolai Demidenko, and Robert Levin. In 2022 he also participated in the ESMuC Junior programme where he attended classes by Jordi Camell.
He has been awarded several prizes such as first absolute prize at the11th “Pequeños Grandes Pianistas” Competition in Sigüenza: first prize at the 16th César Uceda Competition in Leioa, and first prize at the 7th Gran Klavier Competition in Alcala de Henares. He has also been awarded in two consecutive editions of the BBVA Award and has obtained a Diploma of Honour at the Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition.
He has performed at the Music Museum in Barcelona, the Eduard Toldrá de Vilanova la Geltrú, Granada’s Medina Elvira de Artafe and Leioa’s Kultur concert halls.
As a student of the School, he has been part of the Mistral and the Kegelstatt trios. He is currently a member of the Turina Quartet and of the Fundación Mutua Madrileña Ensemble.
