Adrián Teslya Recio

Born in Madrid, Spain, in 2007. Since 2024, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music's Telefónica Violin Chair with professor Zakhar Bron. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

He began his musical education at the age of five at Madrid's children choir "Pequeños Cantores", performing in venues like the National Auditorium. At the age of six, he began his violin training at the Katarina Gurska Music School with Elena Pochekina and Sergey Teslya, and piano classes with Yuri Ananiev. Additionally, he has attended advanced courses with renowned professors and performed in important chamber orchestras.

At the age of ten, he entered Madrid Youth Orchestra's Camerata and made his debut as soloist when he was twelve.

In 2020, he received an Honourable Mention at the City of Vigo Competition, and in 2022 he was awarded a scholarship by the Young Orchestra of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. He has performed at the Royal Concertgebouw and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.

Since October 2023, he has been concertmaster of the Youth Orchestra of Madrid. In 2024 he participated in the Verbier Junior Orchestra of the Verbier Festival under the baton of James Gaffigan and Vincenzo Milletaì.
