Trio Sypniewski

The Sypniewski Trio, composed of three sisters, was founded in 2016. Born into a family of Polish origin where music occupies a central place, Caroline (cello), Magdalena (violin) and Anna (violin) have played together from an early age.

The Trio has studied with internationally renowned musicians such as François Salque at the Paris Conservatoire, the Quatuor Modigliani and Krzysztof Chorzelski, thanks to Proquartet masterclasses. They were selected to take part in the Académie Ravel in Saint-Jean de Luz, where they received several prizes.

They joined the International Institute of Chamber Music of Madrid with Günter Pichler in 2022.

Since their first concert at the Chapelle des Jésuites de Carcassonne, they have participated in the main French festivals such as the Festival Debussy, Musiques à Versailles, Raveliades de Ciboure, Orangerie de Sceaux, Jeudis musicaux de Royan, Piano Pic, Melomania. en Grasse, Festival Jeunes Talents, Musicales d'Uzerche, among others.

They are eager to make known the repertoire of string trios (Mozart's Divertimento, Beethoven's trios...) but also some anonymous composers such as Dohnanyi or Françaix. The young composer Raphaël Sévère dedicated his work Partita to them, and they recordes it in 2022 thanks to the Mirare label.

Willing to explore new repertoires, they shared the stage with pianists Alexandre Kantorow, Clément Lefebvre, Adam Laloum and Jean-Philippe Fonsalas, not forgetting violinists Alexandre Pascal and Hugues Borsarello.
