Tommaso Gaeta

Born in Roma, Italy, in 1999, flutist Tommaso Gaeta began musical studies at the age of 7 and when he was 12, he was already a member of the Junior Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Rome. Tommaso studied with Paolo Rossi at the Alfredo Casella and Luisa D'Annunzio Conservatories, graduating from both with the highest honours, and from the latter with a special mention and a performance of the Reinecke Concerto. He is currently studying for his Master of Arts and Performance at the Academy of Music FNHW in Basel, Switzerland, in the class of Felix Renggli. In 2020, Tommaso joined the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana and since 2022 he has been a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra In 2022, Tommaso won the 10th Severino Gazzelloni International Competition, Italy.
