Akito Marschik

Born in Munich, Germany, in 2004, into a based family of musicians, Akito Marschik began cello lessons in 2012 with Yayoi Imada and Lionel Cottet. He attended masterclasses with Helmar Stiehler, Maria Kliegel, Sebastian Klinger, and Wen-Sinn Yang. A recipient of numerous awards at "Jugend Musiziert" and one of the winners of the 2022 Federal Competition, Akito played in the Puchheim Youth Chamber Orchestra and the Bavarian State Youth Orchestra. Starting in 2022, he studied as a pre-college student under Professor Wen-Sinn Yang at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich, officially enrolling in the Bachelor's program in 2023. He is also a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
