The Sony Auditorium of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía houses an organ built by the prestigious organ builder Gerhard Grenzing. This series of organ concerts was born with the aim of giving voice to this unique instrument, which does not usually have many opportunities to be shown to the public. Twice a year, outstanding national and international performers play in the concerts, which cover the entire history of music, fostering a dynamic and harmonious dialogue between the organ and other instruments.

The second concert of the series will feature performances by Edgar Krapp, German organist, professor for 20 years at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich and member of the Neue Bachgesellschaft in Leipzig and the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts; and Hansjörg Schellenberger, professor of the Damm Foundation Oboe Chair at the Escuela Reina Sofía.

Free tickets for Friends of the School. Find more information on the Friends Programme here.

This concert will also be broadcast live on our Youtube channel.
