As a tribute to Fryderyck Chopin, the commemorative concert "Chopin Marathon" will be held on the 175th anniversary of his death. It will take place on 21 July at the Sala Pereda of the Palacio de Festivales and will feature all the pianists of the Encounter.


Chopin, born in Poland and famous for his profound emotional expression in his piano compositions, remains a timeless figure in classical music. It will be an evening of exceptional performances in honour of his legacy, featuring iconic works such as the Ballade No. 4, the Andante spianato, the Sonata in B minor and a selection of mazurkas, waltzes and nocturnes.
