XXIII Santander Music and Academy Encounter

The 23rd edition of the Encounter brought together 69 participants of 30 different nationalities from 15 European partner music schools. Patrick Gallois (flute), Alexei Ogrintchouk (oboe), Eberhard Marschall (bassoon), Szabolcs Zempléni (horn), Ralf Gothóni (piano) and Péter Fried (voice) joined the teaching staff for the first time, also composed by Joining the teaching staff were Zakhar Bron and Mihaela Martin (violin), Isabel Charisius (viola), Frans Helmerson (cello), Calogero Palermo (clarinet), and Márta Gulyás (piano).

As conductors, Andrés Orozco-Estrada was invited to conduct the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, and Péter Csaba himself conducted the chamber orchestra.
