Admission
The selection of participants of the Encounter is carried out through online auditions, which are personally conducted by the artistic direction of the Encounter. The auditions are open to young musicians from all over the world and the application period will open in mid-November 2024.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection will be conducted online.
Phase 1: Preselection
All candidates must complete their application here before January 31, 2025.
The Selection Committee will evaluate the CV and audiovisual material submitted by the candidates. Selected candidates will move on to the next phase.
Phase 2: Personal Interview
Preselected candidates will participate in an online interview with the Selection Committee. The results will be communicated in early March 2025. Those who do not secure a spot will be placed on the waiting list and will be notified if a vacancy becomes available.
Requirements
The Encuentro is aimed at young talented musicians who wish to refine their skills and gain professional experience. It is recommended to have advanced academic training and artistic experience.
Age (as of July 1, 2025):
- Instrumentalists: 18 to 31 years old.
- Singers: 18 to 33 years old.
Language: A fluent level of English is required as classes and rehearsals will be conducted in this language.
Instruments:
– Winds: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, and trumpet*.
– Strings: violin, viola, cello, and double bass*.
– Piano.
– Voice.
Application Fee
15 €: Until December 15.
30 €: From December 16 to January 15.
50 €: From January 16 to January 31.
Students from partner schools and former participants of the Encuentro are exempt from the application fee.
The application fee must be paid when submitting your application and is non-refundable.
