Uladzislau Khandohi

Born in Minsk, Belarus, in 2001. Since 2023, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación Banco Santander Piano Chair with professor Stanislav Ioudenitch. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

Member of a family of musicians, he started playing piano at the age of seven. After having won several youth competitions in his country and in Russia, in 2013, he entered the Belarusian State Academy of Music with Irina Semenyako. Since 2020, she studied at the Moscow State Conservatory with Natalia Trull, and was granted by Yuri Rosum international charity fund. He has also continued his training with masterclasses by Robert Levin, among others.

Among more recent awards, it is worth mentioning the first places at the 32nd Ferrol International Competition (Spain) and in the San Remo and La Palma d’Oro international competitions (both in Italy). Additionally, in 2024 he was awarded second prize at the Barcelona Maria Canals International Music Competition (Spain); in 2022 he was finalist at the Van Cliburn Piano Competition and previously, in 2016, at the Gina Bachauer Competition (United States).

In 2016, he recorded his first solo album with Melodiya. He has also toured around several cities in Belarus, Russia, Spain, Italy, and France.

As a student of the School, he is part of the Schumann Trio.
